Littledown Pool Dry Refurbishment

Workscope:

UK Diveworks were asked to complete the refurbishment of the tiling to the bottom of a flume landing pool at Littledown Leisure Centre along with the retile of the entry staircases.

Works began to strip the original tiling and inspect the substrate beneath. Once stripped, investigation took place and it was discovered that tanking had already been installed previously and was still in good condition. With the client's involvement and agreeance, UK Diveworks were instructed to re-tile once surface preparation had been completed to remove the remaining tile adhesive.

A cobalt blue colour tile was selected by the client to give the pool a more up to date feel.

Completion handover took place after just 12 days of works and the pool was then slowly refilled and brought back on line by Leisure Centre Staff.
